elementary after-school programs

Victoria ISD will partner with three after-school enrichment programs for the 2021-22 academic school year. Right at School, the Barbara Bauer Briggs Family YMCA, and the Boys & Girls Club of Victoria will serve various VISD elementary schools for grades pre-k through fifth grade.

The three programs will follow VISD academic calendars, being available Monday-Friday when school is in session. Each program will provide a learning curriculum, allow students to work on homework, and provide playtime.

Right at School will serve Chandler, Mission Valley, Schorlemmer, O’Connor and Vickers elementary schools. It will open on campuses when school is dismissed and close at 6 p.m. each day.

The YMCA Afterschool Program will serve Aloe, Crain, DeLeon, Dudley, Rowland, Shields and Smith elementary schools. It will open on campuses when school is dismissed and close at 6:30 p.m. each day.

The Boys & Girls Club will primarily serve Hopkins Elementary, but registration is open to students from all elementary and middle school campuses. The after-school program will be held at the Boys & Girls Club location, 202 Hopkins Street, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. each day.

Torres Elementary will provide Extended Day after-school care. For more information, please contact the school directly.
