On May 19, the VISD Class of 2025 Scholarship Ceremony was a proud celebration of the generosity of our local donors who presented scholarships to our outstanding seniors. This annual event not only recognizes the remarkable achievements of our students but also highlights the community’s strong commitment to investing in the futures of our youth.
Prior to the ceremony, students had the opportunity to report their previously awarded scholarships in SchooLinks, ensuring that all scholarships, beyond those presented by local donors, were acknowledged. Scholarships from booster clubs, colleges and universities, and a variety of other organizations were celebrated during the ceremony, further demonstrating the diverse opportunities available for our seniors.
To date, our accomplished seniors have collectively earned an impressive $1,745,550 in scholarships! This incredible milestone represents both the hard work of our students and the unwavering support from our community.
We anticipate this number to rise as scholarships continue to be awarded.
