Last week, the Victoria East High School Lady Titan Powerlifting Team competed for a shot to defend their 2023 Regional Championship title at the Texas High School Women’s Powerlifting Association (THSWPA) Region 5 5A Division 1 Regional Championship. We are pleased to announce that the Lady Titans brought home first place, emerging as the 2024 back-to-back Region 5 5A Division 1 Champions.
With a remarkable 43 points earned to gain a 13-point lead over 2nd place, the team has secured their spot at the State meet once again.
12 of the 15 Titan qualifiers punched their ticket to state, with 11 of them bringing home medals. The Lady Titans will defend their 2023 State Championship title on March 16 at Comerica Center in Frisco.
