This afternoon, before school dismissal, both campuses were put on a HOLD due to shots heard in the vicinity of both campuses. A HOLD was implemented as a precautionary measure.
We want to assure you that the safety and security of our students and staff are our top priority. We have been working closely with local law enforcement to ensure that the campus is secure and that there is no immediate threat to our students and staff.
The campus's HOLD was lifted and dismissal was delayed at both campuses after the School Resource Office (SRO) and Victoria County Sheriff's Office (VCSO) cleared both campuses.
We understand that situations like this can be unsettling, and we want to thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.
