At 4:19 p.m. today, a telephone call was received at the Cade Middle School office regarding a possible threat.
VCSO School resource deputy sheriffs were able to trace the number to a residence in Victoria, and made contact with one of the alleged suspects. The suspect, a 12 year old juvenile was arrested at the residence and is currently incarcerated at the juvenile detention center, charged with terroristic threats.
At this time, there is no credible threat to the safety of students in the VISD.

The second suspect, also a juvenile, was interviewed, and charges are currently pending further review and investigation.
