2022-2023 Retention & Acquisition Stipends
The eligibility criteria for the Stipend Plan has been established as follows:
Teacher Pay Scale (Certified full-time)
Eligible for a total of $3,000 to be paid in three installments ($1,500 payment in September of 2022, $750 payment in January of 2023, and $750 payment in June of 2023)
Admin Business/Admin Instructional (full-time)
Eligible for a total of $3,000 to be paid in three installments ($1,500 payment in September of 2022, $750 payment in January of 2023, and $750 payment in June of 2023)
Para-Professional/Clerical (full-time)
Eligible for a total of $1,500 to be paid in three installments ($750 payment in September of 2022, $375 payment in January of 2023, and $375 payment in June of 2023)
Classified (including Bus Drivers) (full-time)
Eligible for a total of $1,500 to be paid in three installments ($750 payment in September of 2022, $375 payment in January of 2023, and $375 payment in June of 2023)
Substitute Workers (must work full-time 50% of student days in a semester)
Eligible for a total of $1,000 to be paid in two installments ($500 payment in January of 2023 and $500 payment in June of 2023)
Full-Time Non-Certified Teachers (i.e. Alt. Cert. non-Statement of Eligibility)
Eligible for a total of $1,500 to be paid in three installments ($750 payment in September of 2022, $375 payment in January of 2023, and $375 payment in June of 2023)
Eligible for remaining $1,500 of certified teacher stipend (pro-rated) once certification is posted by TEA (from date of Intern Certificate)
3-Hour Teachers
Eligible for a total of $1,125 to be paid in three installments ($562.50 payment in September of 2022, $281.25 payment in January of 2023, and $281.25 payment in June of 2023)
Half-Time Teachers
Eligible for a total of $1,500 to be paid in three installments ($750 payment in September of 2022, $375 payment in January of 2023, and $375 payment in June of 2023)
Part-Time Employees
Eligible for a pro-rated amount which will be based on number of hours and days worked
ESL CERTIFICATION EARNED BEFORE 9/1/2022 and employed as classroom teacher or IC on 9/1/2022 (not applicable to anyone hired after 9/1/22)
Eligible for a one-time payment of $1,000 to be paid in one installment in September of 2022
