Bridgette Sutton Marshall
School Board Trustee

Bridgette Sutton Marshall serves as the humanities department chair and tenured professor of English at Victoria College, in Victoria, Texas. She is a proud VISD alum and former Patti Welder Middle School teacher.

In her twenty-plus years in education, she has grown into an authentic leader skilled in supervision, communication, and relationship building. Additionally, she has experience in accreditation processes, strategic planning, and designing and implementing program improvement plans to advance student learning and achievement.

An educator, administrator, and student, she believes in lifelong learning and is excited to work and grow with colleagues on the VISD Board of Trustees. In her role as a professor, Bridgette has served more than 3500 students and is passionate about ensuring the availability and accessibility of quality public educational opportunities to all VISD stakeholders.
