Driving Instructions to INVISTA

From Victoria:

  1. Go toward Bloomington on S. Laurent St.

  2. Travel Texas Highway 185 East approximately 5 miles past US 59. The INVISTA plant will be visible in the distance on your right. A radio/microwave tower on the left side of the road marks the next turn.

  3. Turn right on Canal Road (FM 1686 turns left toward DaCosta & the Victoria landfill.)

  4. Cross the railroad tracks. Please be careful this is a very active RR line and there are no crossing lights or gates.

  5. Turn left at the stop sign onto Old Bloomington Road. Use caution - this is a three-way stop!

  6. The road will make a 90 degree right turn - follow it. In about a half mile you'll see the Wetland sign and parking lot on the right. Pull into the parking lot and walk through the gate to the Education Center.

From Texas Highway 35 (Bloomington, Port Lavaca, etc.):

  1. Turn west on Texas Highway 185 toward Bloomington and Victoria

  2. Approximately 3 miles north of Bloomington look for a large radio/microwave tower on the right. At the tower, turn left on Canal Road. (FM 1686 turns right toward DaCosta).

  3. Cross the railroad tracks. Please be careful this is a very active RR line and there are no crossing lights or gates.
