The Maintenance staff is committed to the safety of all students, teachers and administrative staff. 

The VISD Maintenance Department employs approximately eighty (80) employees of all different crafts; along with (120) custodial staff members. The strength of the Maintenance Department is its employees and knowledgeable support staff.

The Maintenance Department employs qualified custodians, carpenters, painters, plumbers, landscapers, air conditioning technicians and electricians. To further support the Maintenance Department, several individuals serve as licensed pest/weed control and environmental consultants.
