Victoria ISD has launched a new ParentSquare Parent and Guardian Resource Page to help families make the most of the districtโ€™s communication platform.

Victoria ISD transitioned to ParentSquare as its districtwide communication platform beginning with the 2026โ€“27 school year, following ParentSquareโ€™s acquisition of Remind. ParentSquare brings district, campus and classroom communication together in one place, making it easier for families to stay connected and informed.

Through ParentSquare, families can:

  • Receive district, school, classroom and group communications in one place

  • Report student absences directly through the ParentSquare app or website

  • Stay informed about school news, events and important updates sent from your childโ€™s campus

  • Communicate directly with teachers and school staff

  • Customize how and when they receive notifications

Parents and guardians are automatically connected to ParentSquare using the contact information currently on file with Victoria ISD. No registration code is required.

To further support families, the new Parent and Guardian Resource Page provides helpful ParentSquare resources and step-by-step guidance, including:

  • Getting Started: Information to help families set up and begin using the ParentSquare app

  • Manage Notifications: Guidance for customizing notification settings so families receive information in the way and at the frequency that works best for them

  • Troubleshooting for Parents: Resources to help resolve common ParentSquare access and account issues

Students will be prompted to download StudentSquare, the student-facing platform, to communicate with their teachers.

Families are encouraged to explore the new resource page and review their ParentSquare notification settings to ensure they are receiving important district and campus communications; visit https://www.visd.net/page/parentsquare.
