Victoria ISD has launched its 2026โ27 Back-to-School webpage, providing families with a central location for districtwide information as they prepare for the start of the new school year.
The Back-to-School webpage serves as a comprehensive resource for information that applies across the district, including student registration, the academic calendar, school supply lists, dress code guidelines, transportation information, student handbooks, and other important resources. Families can also find information about back-to-school events, including Froggy Camp, Sneak Peek, Sixth Grade Orientation and Fish Camp, along with links to additional district programs and services.
This year, the Back-to-School webpage also includes important information about Victoria ISD's transition from Remind to ParentSquare. As a result of ParentSquare's acquisition of Remind, Victoria ISD will begin using ParentSquare as its official district and campus communication platform for the 2026โ27 school year. Parents are encouraged to download the free ParentSquare app from the Apple App Store or Google Play so they are ready to receive important school and district communications.
"Preparing for a new school year should be exciting, not overwhelming," said Ashley Alvarez, Executive Director of Communications and Public Relations for Victoria ISD. "We created this webpage to give parents and students one reliable place to find the districtwide information they need before the first day of school. By making important resources easy to access and providing clear, timely communication, we're helping families feel informed, connected and ready for a successful school year."
While the Back-to-School webpage contains information that applies districtwide, campus-specific details such as campus events and other local updates will continue to be shared through each campus website and official Facebook page. Families are encouraged to regularly check both the district's Back-to-School webpage and their child's campus communication channels throughout the summer as additional information becomes available.
Victoria ISD will continue updating the webpage as new information is finalized leading up to the first day of school, making it the district's primary source for districtwide back-to-school information.
