Course Description:

Automotive Technology is a three year program comprised of Automotive Technology-Service, Automotive Technology– Repair, and Practicum in Transportation, Distribution, and Logistics.   Students will gain knowledge of the function of the major automotive systems and the principles of diagnosing and servicing these systems. In Automotive Technology, students gain knowledge and skills in the repair, maintenance, and diagnosis of vehicle systems. The focus of this program is to teach the theory of operation of automotive vehicle systems and associated repair practices. Students may earn the SP-2 Safety Certification in addition to an ASE Maintenance and Light Repair Student Certificate and ASE Electronics and Electrical Systems upon completion of the program.
