Tami Keeling

“In Victoria, we are fortunate to have a community that supports education. It is a partnership which makes our service on the school board a honor and a privilege. As a board member, my aim is to serve the diverse needs of all the children in VISD in ways that allow each of them to reach his or her own potential. The educators at work in our school system make that a possibility for each student in our care. As a school board, our job is to make sure the policies, procedures and funds are in place for our educators to engage ‘Every Child, Every Classroom, Every Day.’

As an advocate, I believe that education is the social and economic cornerstone of our community. Education is an investment; not an expense. It is the responsibility of each of us to stay informed so that we can best defend and support public education. I take a great deal of pride in our community, our schools, and our students and am excited about the future in VISD as we continue our journey toward excellence.”
