Title I, Part A funds are used to enable schools to provide opportunities for children to acquire the knowledge and skills contained in the challenging state and local content standards through school wide research-based education programs. Funds are determined by the number of district students eligible for the federal free/reduced lunch program. VISD Title I, Part A serves grades Pre-K to 5th grade.
On a Title I, Part A schoolwide campus, funds are used for all of the student population and the effectiveness is measured by student performance. The Victoria ISD Title I campuses are:

Title II, Part A
The intent and purpose of this program is to increase student academic achievement through improving teacher and principal quality and increasing the number of highly qualified teachers in classrooms. VISD Title II, Part A funds support district and campus professional development, supports core content area instructors the Invista Wetland Program.
