The Auction on January 25th is at the Briscoe Western Art Museum in San Antonio.
The artwork is auctioned off to the highest bidder. That person gets to keep an amazing work of art. The money from auction goes entirely to the student as a scholarship. Community members who want to help out our students can “add on” to their total amount through the website below. The students will also receive this “add on” money as part of their total scholarship. Every person who is able to “add on” will receive a hand written thank you letter from the student and a photo of the artwork.
Here is how to help:
Visit www.sarodeo.com/attractions/student-western-art-auction-donations and view all of the artworks in the Top 25. Choose the student you wish to support. Towards the bottom there is a drop down menu that says “General Donation” that has a list of student names when you click on it. Select the student you wish to support, fill in the rest of the information and then Save/Submit at the bottom.
The site will be available for submitting an “Add On” through the end of February when the stock show takes place in San Antonio.
